Introduction

In Hong Kong, the Communications Administration (Communication Bureau)：
1. Generally, after consulting the industry, the technical specifications of telecommunications equipment and industrial, scientific and medical equipment that intentionally emit radio frequency energy are regulated by HK CA
2. Form regulations. Technical specifications are mainly for implementing electrical safety, preventing interference, network compatibility and network interaction. Local certification bodies accredited under Article 32E of the Telecommunications Regulations (Chapter 106) or overseas certification bodies accredited under the APEC Mutual Recognition Arrangement Telecommunications Equipment Conformity Assessment (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Certification Bodies")
3. Certificates may be issued for telecommunications equipment or industrial, scientific, or medical equipment certified to meet relevant technical specifications
