WiFi and Bluetooth products have basically similar test programs to the European standard EN300 328. Among them, 2.4ghz WiFi products (802.11b/g, 2412~ 2472mhz) and Bluetooth products use the MIC Notice No.88 Annex43, but for the 14 channels (Channel 14:2471mhz ~ 2497MHz) of 2.4ghz WiFi products, Annex44 should be used alone for testing and reporting.
Annex45 is the test standard for 5GHz WiFi products (802.11a, 5180~5320MHz, W52 Band and W53 Band). However, it should be noted that MIC will modify Annex45 in the near future to include 5.6ghz devices (Band W56) under Annex45, and there are more stringent DFS testing requirements for Band 56.
MIC Certificate Introduction:MIC Certificate Introduction:MIC is a mandatory certification for wireless products in Japan, similar to SRRC in China. It follows the Japanese radio law. The specific test specification is in accordance with MIC (ministry of general affairs of Japan) Notice No.88, and the update and maintenance of the test specification is also performed by MIC.
TELEC(Telecom Engineering Center) is the main registered certification body for radio equipment compliance certification in Japan.
