FCC VERIFICATION自我验证FCC VOC |
AV products, corded phones, ordinary household appliances, commercial PCs, industrial, scientific research and medical equipment used by non-mass consumers under FCC Rule Part 18;; |
Manufacturers or importers ensure that their products have undergone necessary tests in FCC-approved laboratories to confirm that the products meet relevant technical standards and retain test reports. FCC has the right to require manufacturers to submit equipment samples or product test data; |
FCC DOC符合性声明Declaration of Conformity |
Home computers and peripherals, civil broadcast receivers, other receivers of FCC Rule Part 15, TV interface equipment
|
The equipment responsible party (generally the manufacturer or importer) tests the products at the qualified testing agency designated by the FCC to ensure that the equipment meets the relevant technical standards and retains the test report. The FCC has the right to require the responsible party to submit samples of the equipment or products Test data. After the product passes the test, the DOC and test report are obtained, and the manufacturer can put the FCC mark on the product and sell it to the US market; |
FCC CERTIFICATION认证证书FCC ID |
Low-power transmitters such as cordless phones, remote controls for automatic doors, radio remote control toys and security alarm systems, Part 15 devices that intentionally emit radio frequency energy, Part 18 industrial, scientific research and medical equipment used by mass consumers, automatic Frequency conversion receivers and super-regenerative receivers, TV interface equipment, and home computers and their peripherals; |
The product needs to pass the FCC-approved testing room. After obtaining the test report, organize the technical data of the product, including: product detail photos, block diagrams, user manuals, etc., and send it to the FCC TCB testing room together with the test report. The FCC TCB testing room confirms that all the information is correct, and issues a certificate to authorize an FCC ID number; for customers who apply for FCC CERTIFICATION for the first time, they must first apply to the FCC for a number-GRANTEE CODE. After the product has passed the test and certification, mark the FCC ID number on the product, and then it can be sold to the US market. |
1. What does FCC certification mean?
FCC certification is easy to understand, it is the compulsory certification of the United States. Electronic and electrical products exported to the United States must pass the FCC certification before they can pass the U.S. customs and be sold in the United States!
FCC certification and recognition: FCC certification is applicable to more than 50 states in the United States, Colombia and regions in the United States
1. FCC ID certification
Specifically for wireless products, the certificate is issued by the TCB agency in the United States. When applying for certification, the company first needs to apply for a Code code. The certification company issues a test report after the product has been tested, and the TCB agency reviews and issues the certificate. This cycle is relatively long, about 4 weeks about
2. FCC VOC
This type of product is specially certified for ordinary electronic and electrical products, mainly testing radiation, and after passing the report and certificate issued by the third-party testing agency of Huatongwei. The cycle is relatively fast, about 1 week
3. FCC DOC
Mainly for IT products, computers and computer peripheral products. Such test items are more complicated, and the certification period is moderate, about 1-2 weeks.
1. FCC certification application process:
Step 1: Apply for Application
1. Fill in the application form (our company provides a blank template)
2. Provide product information "product instruction manual, schematic diagram, circuit diagram, block diagram, working principle and functional description, product BOM table (bill of materials)"
Step 2: Quotation (determine the test standard, test time and corresponding cost according to the provided information)
The third step: payment and sample testing (after the applicant confirms the quotation, sign the "application form" and "service agreement" and pay the full project fee, and prepare the test sample.)
Step 4: Our company arranges the test
Step 5: After the test is passed and the report is completed, our company will submit the information to the FCC authorized certification agency for review.
Step 6: After the audit is completed, the TCB agency issues an FCC ID certificate, and the company can use the FCC mark on its products after obtaining the FCC certification.
2. FCC ID certification application method
Generally, there are two ways to apply for FCC ID certification:
1. Send the product directly to the TCB laboratory in the United States for completion, but in this way the cost will be high and the time will not be controlled.
2. Send the product to an FCC-approved laboratory (Huatongwei) to test in the laboratory, prepare the information, and complete the report. Then send the test report to the TCB agency for certification. At present, customers mainly adopt this method. FCC ID certification can be checked online in the United States to distinguish between true and false!
3. FCC ID certification needs to submit a list of materials and requirements as follows
1. FCC application form: the application company name, address, contact information, product name and model, usage standards and other information are required to be accurate;
2. FCC authorization letter: It must be signed and stamped by the contact person of the applicant company and scanned into an electronic file;
3. FCC confidentiality letter: The confidentiality letter is an agreement signed by the applicant company and the TCB organization on the confidentiality of product information, which must be signed and stamped by the contact person of the applicant company and scanned into an electronic file;
4. Block diagram: all crystal oscillators and crystal oscillator frequencies need to be drawn and kept consistent with the circuit diagram;
5. Circuit diagram: must be consistent with the crystal frequency, number of crystals and crystal position in the block diagram;
6. Line description: It is required to be in English, and clearly describe the functional realization principle of the product;
7. Instructions for use: FCC warnings are required;
8. Tag and tag location: The tag must have an FCC ID number and Statement, and the location of the tag must be significant;
9. Appearance photos inside the product: the pictures are required to be clear and clear, and remarks should be added when necessary;
10. Test report: The test is required to be completed, and the product is evaluated in an all-round way according to the standard terms;
How much does FCC certification cost?
1. FCC-VOC is self-certification: mainly for AV products, household appliances, lamps and other products.
2. FCC-DOC is a self-declaration: mainly for IT products, PCs and PC peripheral products.
3. FCC-ID is the most complicated and needs to involve registration ID number, mainly for wireless radio frequency products.
